On February 18, 2012, Dr. Rob received his Fellowship award from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). The award was presented to him at the ICOI Winter Symposium in San Diego, California.
The International Congress of Oral Implantologists is a non-profit, worldwide dental educational organization. Its mission is to communicate scientific knowledge and improve the clinical practice of dental implantology worldwide. The ICOI publishes a bimonthly journal and a quarterly newsletter in addition to their public information programs. They hold numerous scientific symposia each year and supports research and education through its Implant Dentistry Research and Education Foundation (IDREF).
The status of fellow is an honor that ICOI bestows upon dental professionals who are involved in dental implant treatment. Active members of The International Congress of Oral Implantologists are encouraged to apply for Fellowship status. Fellowship status is obtained through demonstrating efforts in education, research, and clinical experience.
Dr. Rob was pleased to receive this prestigious award from the Congress. “Thank you to the International Congress of Oral Implantologists for bestowing this award upon me. I am excited for the future of dental implants, and this fellowship will allow me to continue shaping the dental implant industry.”
Dr. Bobbi Stanley was also in San Diego to join in on the fun. “We’re so proud of Dr. Rob. He has worked so hard to become an incredible implantologist. Being a fellow in the ICOI is an honor, and I’m glad to see his success!”
