On October 27-29, Drs. Robert & Bobbi Stanley, as well as Dental Assistant Gayle Banic, attended the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) annual conference in New Orleans Louisiana.
Founded in 1951, the Academy is the first professional organization in the world dedicated to implant dentistry. Their mission is to advance the science and practice of implant dentistry through education, research support and to serve as the credentialing standard for implant dentistry for the benefit of mankind.
While attending the conference, Drs. Stanley and Gayle were able to choose from a plethora of breakout sessions surrounding the following topics:
Dr. Bobbi said, “I’m excited to be a part of this event in historic New Orleans. Continuous learning is at the core of our practice. Many of the advancements presented at this conference are technology and materials we’ve already implemented because of our commitment to the using the best products available. It was very validating to hear experts to endorse these standards.”
In addition to lectures, attendees were able to participate in hands-on training exercises to practice the latest techniques in implant dentistry. Dr. Robert Stanley stated, “It’s nice to be able to step back and analyze your current practice standards versus industry standards.”
