Dajshia, affectionately known as Daisy by friends and family, received that nickname as a child due to her love of the Disney Character Daisy Duck. She was born in Eastern North Carolina, but spent most of her childhood at the coast in Wilmington. Daisy loved growing up in the country playing in the fields and taking trips to the beach every weekend. She loves to travel, make art, and try new foods! Her current favorite cuisines are Korean food and Italian food! Some of her favorite places she has visited are Paris, Rome, Yosemite National Park, and The Blue Lagoon in Iceland to see the Northern Lights! Daisy is passionate about participating in religious activities like her ministry, and has always enjoyed using that as a way to upbuild her community. She graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Language, Writing and Rhetoric. While dental is outside of her field of study in school, Daisy has had a keen interest in dentistry for many years after seeing how her own smile makeover changed her life!
