Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Dr. Baranowski relocated to the Charlotte area with his parents and two brothers. From a young age, he was interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. He was able to observe the intense fulfillment his parents experienced in their careers as a pharmacist and registered nurse.

He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) with an undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science and Chemistry minor. Following his undergraduate studies, he continued his formal education at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Baranowski completed a one-year postgraduate residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. The residency was completed in partnership with the VA Hospital in Fayetteville NC. During his residency, Dr. Baranowski provided comprehensive dental care for deserving veterans.

Dr. Baranowski enjoys being able to work with his hands, solve issues plaguing someone’s quality of life very quickly, and seeing immediate gratification from his patients as he’s able to help them. In the office, his focus is on fully guided dental implants and oral surgery.

When Dr. David is out of the office you can find him rooting for the UNC Tar Heels and the Carolina Panthers, going to concerts, and competing in a fantasy football league. David married his long-term girlfriend Allison in 2018 in the North Carolina mountains.
